Working with Oud is a passion and lifelong obsession for our Master Distiller. Our approach to Oud production is sustainable, ethically minded, and dedicated to excellence.
Our distillers are deemed to be among the best in the world distinguished by their quality. Our distillation process has been handed down through generations from the 16th century. Once the altered parts of the tree are obtained they are crushed and soaked in water.
The mixture is then put into large wooden stills where they remain for approximately 9 days, heated by a fire constantly monitored and fed. The resulting oil is then steadily accumulated drip by drip. Finally it is separated in the traditional way, by hand.
